Works offline

A time clock that works without Wi-Fi

Timedox biometric clocks keep recording punches when the internet drops, storing them on the device and syncing automatically the moment they reconnect. No lost hours, even at sites with spotty or no wifi.

Keeps working offline

If wifi or the internet goes down, the clock keeps accepting punches. Nothing is lost.

Stores punches on-device

Each clock holds tens of thousands of transactions locally, so even a long outage is no problem.

Auto-syncs when back online

As soon as the connection returns, stored punches upload to your dashboard automatically.

Built for tough sites

Construction sites, warehouses, and remote locations with weak connectivity stay accurate.

Still biometric offline

Fingerprint and face matching run on the device, so buddy punching is blocked even offline.

No manual reconciliation

You do not re-enter missed punches; the device and dashboard reconcile themselves.

How offline clocking works

Timedox clocks use store-and-forward. Punches are saved to the device's local memory as employees clock in and out, and the clock matches fingerprints or faces on-device, so it does not need the cloud to verify who is punching. When the internet returns, the device pushes the stored punches to your Timedox dashboard, timestamped exactly as they happened.

Where an offline time clock matters

Construction and field sites, factory floors, basements and stairwells, rural locations, and anywhere the network is unreliable. Instead of losing hours during an outage or falling back to paper, the clock simply catches up when a connection is available.

Frequently asked questions

Does the time clock work without wifi?

Yes. The clock records punches locally when there is no wifi or internet, and it syncs them automatically once the connection returns.

What happens to punches during an internet outage?

They are saved on the device and uploaded automatically once it is back online, timestamped as they happened. Nothing is lost.

How many punches can it store offline?

Tens of thousands of transactions locally (the TDX-TP200 holds up to 100,000), which covers long outages comfortably.

Is biometric verification available offline?

Yes. Fingerprint and face matching happen on the device, so it verifies who is punching even with no connection.
